Like many other reviewers here, I am disappointed that the soundtrack has not been released - can only find some of the songs for sale here on Amazon, too.

This movie is absolutely a cult classic - the hubby and I watch this one all the time, every time its on TV. When theres nothing else to watch, we pop this in the DVD player.

This is one DVD that I might actually wear out. When youre paining for that Caribbean escape to get you through, nothing is better than Captain Ron. A light-hearted sailing adventure that will make you forget the cold or how far you are from the sea. Like others, I wish they would put this out on wide-screen and maybe add some outtakes. I would buy it in a heart beat. If you have any sailing in you or any desire to spend time in the lower latitudes, you need to get this movie. Its a fun time and will make you feel good.

I bought this movie for my wife. Its a good, fun, happy movie. Light-hearted and doesnt take itself too seriously. There are plenty of quirky characters and the setting in New England is beautiful. Once more, there arent too many special features which is a bit of an irritant.

I dont tend to watch movies over and over. However, I do have favorites and do watch them again and again over the years. For both my wife and me, this is the number one favorite. We watch it about twice a year. As others here have mentioned, it is a mood elevator. I ease into it with anticipation until the chair shopping scene. After that, I just go with the flow of it on my cloud nine all the way through.

I know of many people who have watched this movie over and over...
Its one that you almost never get tired of.
Bruce Willis is so great as the "naive but brilliant guy" and this movie definitely shows how far Hollyweird women will go to "look young forever".
Highly recommended... Very funny, and almost believable as real life !!!

Director Robert Zemeckis pulls all the rabbits out of his hat to craft a visual experience the viewer will never forget--and all with a sharp, biting verve.

Ah, immortality. And beauty. Ageless glamour and elegance. Who wouldnt want such a gift, no matter what the price? Two rivals, an aging movie star (Meryl Streep) and self-help guru (Goldie Hawn), willingly pay the ultimate price for eternal beauty in their never-ending tug-of-war over a shallow mortician (Bruce Willis, who is really fun to watch in this quirky role). Its a struggle that crosses over to lethal force trouble is, neither woman can be killed--but she can darn sure be disfigured. Is that neck hopelessly broken? Get out the mortician paint.

Its impossible for Streep to turn in a mediocre performance, and shes at the top of her game here. Hawn and Willis are outstanding, too, while Isabella Rossellini, who plays the witch who sells Streep and Hawn their "magic potion", is absolutely stunning. Look for a cameo by the late great director Sydney Pollack as an ER physician about to receive the injury case of his career. With eye-popping special effects and a tongue-in-cheek spoof of vainglorious megalomania, DEATH BECOMES HER is grand (and often icky) fun.

Where is an anamorphic release for this film? Surround Sound? Hey, how about a Blu-ray release? This movie deserves far better treatment than this 4X3 Full Frame release. A family member of mine owns this and I love the film, but I wont buy it for myself until it gets the treatment it deserves. This is a classic Robert Zemeckis film! It deserves far better than what it got with this release.

This movie is funny and very entertaining. It has betrayal and vengince. I would recommend this movie to anyone to buy. Goldie Hawn and Merryl Streep are great together and Bruce Willis is just an added bonus. I could watch it over and over again.
